I am a graduate of a Bachelor of Elementary Education and have passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers. I began my career as a Customer Service Representative in a BPO company before transitioning into education, where I spent six years teaching young learners. While that experience was very meaningful to me, I eventually realized I wanted to explore a different path, one that would allow for continued growth and better work-life balance which led me to my current role.
I’m now a Post-Docket Legal Assistant in the Debt Resolution Department, where I help manage case flow and ensure everything moves forward as it should. My work centers on coordinating with courts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date calendar entries, and staying ahead of any developments that may affect upcoming appearances so potential issues are identified early and nothing important is overlooked. I also work closely with the legal team and local appearance counsel to ensure communication remains clear and consistent by relaying updated instructions, confirming procedural changes, and keeping precise records of hearing outcomes so everyone stays aligned on case status and next steps in time-sensitive matters. In many ways, my role is about bringing structure to constant motion: anticipating what might shift, resolving what needs attention, and keeping every detail in sync as everything progresses forward.
Alongside my core responsibilities, I’m also part of our department’s automation team, which has been one of the most exciting parts of my role. I’ve contributed to the development of multiple automations that help improve our case flow and significantly reduce repetitive manual tasks. I enjoy looking at processes and finding better, more efficient ways to do things, then turning those ideas into actual tools that help the team. Overall, I’m motivated by continuous improvement and finding better ways to make work more efficient. I do my best to perform my role well while also contributing where I can to support the team and improve day-to-day processes.
