Lilja Caysso

Lilja Caysso is a 28-year-old Executive Assistant to the Director of Operations and a Lawyer from Nicaragua. Originally from a small community on the Caribbean Coast called Pearl Lagoon, she later moved to Managua in search of greater opportunities and stability.

She began her legal studies in 2015 and earned her law degree in 2022, overcoming both civil unrest in her country and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic along the way.
Lilja joined The Debt Defenders in December 2023. Although she was initially considered for the Bankruptcy department, she was selected to work directly with Miss Ambar or as she would call her ( Boss Lady) out of love for nicknames. With strong mentorship, she grew into a key role supporting daily operations, including pre-screenings, onboarding and offboarding, vendor coordination, calendar management, and system troubleshooting.

Outside of work, Lilja is a proud pet owner of two dogs and a cat—each with a personality of their own, keeping life entertaining.
